Analog Four scenes on Launchpad

Hi all,
probably a stupid question but some help about it would be much appreciate.
As an Octatrack user I do really find useful scenes for live performance. Since on the Analog fourthis is not an option I was wondering if connecting a midi controller such as the novation launchpad mkiii to the analog four would it be possible to create different scenes I can change on the go?
Hope it makes sense…
thanks

The performance mode can’t do what you have in mind? I know it’s only 4 parameters tweakable per knob (if I recall) instead of unlimited for the OT but it’s quite fun and you can use 8 knobs (8 scenes?). I think mk2 has the “all” knob and you can control them all at once. You could copy paste a kit and only modify the performance mode to add even more variation (from kit A to turn all knob max, switch to Kit B with the start being the max of Kit A but with new settings to change from there?)

Yes, if you haven’t explored the performance knobs then do!
Their purpose is similar to the OT scenes, but it’s actually a better implementation IMHO… maybe not as fast as using the crossfader, but it’s kind of like having 10 scenes and being able to use them at whatever strength and in whatever combinations you want.

oh yeah 10, not 8!

That’s the point, I really enjoy performances and do a very large use of them but what I really need is a quick and practical switch (in an ideal world would be just pressing one button) that allows me to pass for example from a scene where track one and two are activated to another scene with just track three on to another one with all the tracks playing, all of this without acting like an octopus…

If you are just switching tracks cant this be done by copying patterns with different track settings enabled?

This is done with Kits on A4. You can change each patch and the effects and mix instantly by loading a Kit. Each pattern can have its own Kit
