Analog four oscillator drift option quality

Is the “oscillator drift” option effective ? does it provide the “warm” often described by VCOs?

no one ?

Think its more to do with phase of the oscillators. Rather than tuning drift.

Yes that option is exactly there for that :
I like those options …

9.11.1 OSCILLATOR DRIFT
Will when activated introduce a very subtle pitch drift to the oscillators, which can increase their perceived
“warmth.”

9.11.2 F1 RESONANCE BOOST
Increases the amount of resonance from the first filter. it affects the resonance and gain of both upper
and lower frequencies.

Osc. Drift is annoying

And pointless. Why would anyone want this on? I just spent like 30 minuets on a sequence trying to figure out why this one part sounded bad and it’s because, by default, Osc. Drift is on all sound patches. WHYYYYY???

I enjoy it. Gives some movement to my own patches without having to use modulators. I typically prefer to use the modulators with a bit more of a heavy hand, so the subtlety of having the option to use OSC drift is nice to have.

It’s subjective though. To each their own.
