Analog Four OS 1.40 PLock Midi CC External Synths?

Hey guys, I just fired up my Analog Four for the first time in ages, as I heard about the new OS Updates to allow Midi to be sent on all tracks. This is great as I am now able to sequence my hardware synths, but I just wondered if there is anyway of using PLocks to control Midi CC per step like on the Octatrack?

Cheers

unfortunately it can not sequence cc messages. only the notes that are on the sequencer can be sent out via the tracks midi channel. also sadly the arp is not available at the midi out…

but the trig conditions are a cool thing to have at midi out, at least

That’s a good point, I havent tried that yet! I’ve also just noticed that Midi Out sends Velocity too, so that can be useful to control parameters on my Nord Lead 4, as a bit of a workaround,

yes, it basically mirrors the sequencer notes, so you can also do 4 note chords on a4. if you use fx and cv track notes do not interfer with internal sound engine…

How do you add the extra notes?

just hold a trig and press multiple notes on the minikeyboard or external keyboard… also on the arp page you see the offset values for note 2,3 and 4 and can also enter/edit those there

Still haven’t figure how to sequence external hardware or VST via A4 sequencer. DAMMIT

You can use for automation parameters CV slots.

Press function + note on the track you want to sequence midi and check the ‘send midi’ box.

Man thanks it was just so easy. Was stuck for a while.

Question what’s the use for the Key note, Key scale, quantize on that page? Just rather ask her pragmatically than spend 3 hours googling it.

Thanks mate,
