ANALOG FOUR & iPad DM1

Hi !

I was fooling around with my ipad yesterday and found that the DM1 app is a perfect companion to the Analog four !
If you send midi transport and midi clock to Ipad via the camera connection kit. It’s great to use the DM1 as the Beat maker and Analog four as Synth !

I just wanted to share this as there are such few threads about iPad and A4 connection.

Yet, It works so well

It’s pretty seamless. I usually use Funkbox for jamming. Even the OG iPad1 makes for a great little chameleon synthesizer.

Yeah, Funkbox on iPhone + A4 works great too!

Yes, I also used it to jam around when I wanted to carry just one Elektron. I’m just not sure if I would rely on the iPad as my primary drum machine on stage. It’s a no-brainer as a backup solution.
