Live minimal jam session using the Elektron Octatrack and Analog Four. I prearranged all patterns in the Analog Four and Octatrack.
I mangled/customized all loops and samples used in the Octatrack.
Definitely loving those “scenes” in the OT, in my opinion they are one of the best features in the OT for live performance.

I’ve been enjoying the tracks from your paired down gear. Keep it up dude. Cheers:)
Thanks man. I am going to add an MDUW+ soon enough.

I love mine, but make sure your happy with the sounds. The machinedrum sounds like a machinedrum. Most people have gripes that it doesn’t sound like and 808, 909 or whatever, to which my response is usually, If you like those sounds why didn’t you buy an 808,909 or M1ami. To be honest, I really like the clinical sounds out of the machinedrum. They hit hard, precise and I find it leaves plenty of space in tracks, which is something people need to use more of. The other thing to consider too, when playing live the machinedrum would be the ideal tool, since it’s so clean & dry, you won’t have that muddy, over-reverberated thing happening that you can get with too much analogue warmth.
Thanks man. You’re definitely accurate about the MD. I had one about a year ago and sold it (big mistake) and now I must have one again. I was more creative using the MD than with the Tempest or the Tanzbear. Also I am all about doing stuff live so the MD is the ideal choice.
