Analog Four / Analog Keys 1.55 OS Upgrade

No Problem with my A4mk1 either.

Lowering the oscillator levels is how I prevent distortion for sensitive pedals. I just think a built in compressor would make it so much more of a friendly and approachable synth allowing the user to glue the sounds together. It can sound so nice but I tend to search out the sweet spot and set it and don’t touch it or make very subtle adjustments. It is frustrating me as I see Elektrons as performance devices especially in the live arena and I don’t want to have drag more equipment around for live gigs like a compressor.

Good to know, thx, getting more & more excited :smiley_cat: have to look for the upload software I think it was C6 or something…didn’t update it for a long time

You can easily use Transfer:

Did it successfully last week.

Can you explain how you’re using the pedals as sends?

@Elektron can we have Ctrl ALL also on the Analog Rytm?

Me neither plus running an ancient OS on my PC which does not allow me to use up-to-Date Transfer.
Worked like a charm (AK) after I realised that “MIDI connection” means USB connection…
Worth every bit:-)

Love this update, but now I want more :sunglasses:
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to some how being able to combine the Arp with rhythm from the Euclidean sequencer?
Holding down your notes (or have them sequenced) and, at the same time, change the rhythm using the Euclidean parameters.

Imagine being able to modulate and p-lock the arp params, or at least the note length.

I’ve wanted this for so long, especially being able to lock the speed parameter

Yeah, The arp is such an integral part of the A4. It would be AMAZING.
It wouldn’t even require any kind of new menu structure.

not trying to be mean, but realistic - because I’m also all over CTL-AL ever since I got it on the MNM and would love to have it on rytm. But…

it took 30 months between Rytm’s 1.7 OS (euclidean gen and page loop update) and A4’s 1.55.

Anyway, hopefully, it will take a bit less than that

yes i agree - not sure why it took so long…

i think TV was the main focus of Elektron for the past 2 years

Ok thank you very much

Ok thank you, reading about the overall positive results makes me less worried :+1::+1:

Sure:
A4 Track 1/2 => FX pedals => (wet) Input AB of Octatrack
A4 master => (dry) Input CD of OT
On a thru track of OT I can have the fully dry signal (CD) and mix in the wet (AB) on top

Hope that makes sense

Would probably work as well by routing the pedals into the A4 extarnal inputs do to the mix inside A4

Some track creation fun with the use of euclidean.

Lovely prog beat, reminds me Guy J. Are the drums from a sample pack?

Hi, I like Guy J. (and many other styles as well), but my sample selection is usually quite spontaneous while experimenting with my AF. In this case, I simply browsed Splice and chose whatever sounded good to me.

Why do i see this only now. That’s insane !!! I love control all
