Analog 4 track mutes effecting circuit sounds

Hi all.

Think it’s my first post here (been lurking for so long)

I have a novation circuit as part of a midi out/thru chain.

Triton extreme sending clock/bpm --> A4 sending transport to sub 37 --> out/din sync to novation circuit.

The circuit is receiving the transport messages from the A4 and all is synced fine fine with the sub 37. All nice and tight.

I have a strange problem when using the A4 in performance mode though. Muting tracks on the A4 using the 1st 2 trig buttons modifies the sound in the novation circuit. Doesn’t mute it but changes/edits the sound.

I assume there is a midi message being sent.

Any ideas/thoughts… a work around maybe?

Thanks

Steve

You are correct.

To stop sending these MIDI messages, set MUTE DEST to INT in the Analog Four’s GLOBAL > MIDI CONFIG > MIDI CHANNELS menu. See page 50 of the manual for more information.

Thank you. Not tried it yet but that sounds like it will do the trick.

Best wishes
