Try soundlocks, make a track, set Perf macros to modulate it! 
With the new update and midi loopback, you can trigger up to 4 Multi Map sounds with 1 track.

If you only want analog kicks and basses, get an A4 instead. I like my rytm, but the A4 is a better machine for synthesized kicks and snares IME

why 4 sounds per track?
You can trigger 4 notes on midi track, that controls multimap. Its make finger drumming a bit easy) but still limited

And is there any difference in the sound of the ARM1 v ARM2 and A41 v A42. Thanks.
The A4 mk2 has been tweaked for better bass and has an extra overdrive.
Not sure about the AR
A4 mk2 has an improved Filter #2, extra Overdrive and in general a fuller brighter Sound and more Bass, whatever that means. Some ppl prefer the more darker grittier character of the Mk1 model.
But we are talking nuances here.
@Unifono I meant Classic because I need Sweep Depth control, Hard doesn’t have it, Snap amount instead.
