Hi guys well im having a hard time to connect this machines together. Try all over the internet but it seems to never Work the way it should. Cant figure out how to get the pitc cv connection to Work

Has this happened to anyone ?
Cheeeeraeer

I dont know exactly what you want to do but i had a minitaur and i tuned it with the A4. It was a bit off. But i think you can calibrate the minitaur with moogs vst for minitaur.

Hi thanks for the Reply. Well when i touch the A4 mini keys it doesnt chance any Pitch note

For pitch CV:
TYPE - Pitch V/oct
NOTE 1 - C5
VOLTAGE 1 - 2.587V
NOTE 2 - C7
VOLTAGE 2 - 4.797V

And for Gate:
TYPE - Gate
POLARITY - V-Trig
LEVEL - 5V

Make sure you connect tip and ring the right way round. Works fine for me with these settings to access the right range for the Minitaur.

Guys many thanks for the help…

Alfred that worked for me…
What are your settings for the vol n filter ?

Many thanks

Dunno, I have the Vol and Filter CV set to TYPE Value Lin 0V-5V. I didn’t use it much yet. Just experiment. Put the Filter and Volume CV on a performance control and see if you are getting the full range. If not fine tune the voltage values.

i posted the original calibration tool, sysex in “files” months ago.
this is the original from the moog promotor amos…

That sysex file changes the stock setting on the MiniT if you have a good 1V or 4V source and you know how to deal with a multimeter. If you use it my values above won’t work anymore but you’ll still have to use the A4/AK calibration procedure for tuning. So the benefit is questionable.

Just tuning it right from the A4/AK CV settings is well documented and pretty straight forward.

Many thanks guys.

Well Alfred settings works for me…

I would suggest calibrating the Minitaur…not sure I can recall one that didn’t need calibrating in regards to using CV with it.
