Hadn’t noticed this thread before. Just got a Poly Ample. And wow it’s rather good. To avoid double posting, here’s a link to my gushing about it in the new gear thread.
to add to the chorus above – neural dsp is so good
I was never comfortable with the HX Stomp, worst UI of my life maybe. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this very inexpensive thing: Sonicake Pocket Master Compact Multi-effects Processor (QME-10)
Having had a lot of fun with the Ample over the last few days, I think I may grab one of these - as a tiny cheap amp sim pedal to let the kids mess with/something small to use on holiday. This new Valeton GP-5 seems almost too good to be true amp-and-everything-else-in-a-small-box for the price. There’s certainly a lot of YouTube hype (for what that’s worth) for a £79 pedal
Anybody try Simplifier mkii?
Loving this little Tonex Plug. Sounds phenomenal and even more convenient. The fact that it has access to over 40k Tones, is a 2/2 analog audio/bluetooth interface plus a headphone amp is bananas. Definitely grabbingTonex Max. Wondering if I should get Amplitude Max while the bundle is just $112 after Jampoints.
As I understand it, Tonex Max gives me access to all of the models. Amplitude Max would let me create and share my own to Tonex. Kinda confusing.
