Amp modulations distorted

I have noticed with the Lfo mod parameters AMp and delay send, a distortion effect is produced. I also notice it on bbox sounds at high volumes.

Can you be more specific?

If an LFO is controlling DSND and reaches the maximum value (-64 or 64) and you have feedback up AND you have the channel’s (“machine’s”) level way up (among other things like DIST), clipping/distortion can occur.

Be sure to take your channel’s level down and fool with the DIST setting. Negative values of the latter can alleviate many distortion or fidelity-related problems.

Use an Lfo to control the delay send and there will be a digital distortion sound produced. It seems apparent on all sound regardless of delay feedback.

I noticed this behavior when modulating the VOL parameter on the amp page. Maybe this is the same thing?

I dropped Elektron a support ticket for this, they told me to look into this … but I am not too confident if anything will change in this regard.
