Alternative to Chaining? Possibility to save pattern progression?

Hi Everyone,

I got my Samples as a replacement for my Behringer RD-6. I hoped to be able to program patterns to use as backing tracks for my band. So that means that I would like to progress from one pattern to the next with zero interaction.

On the Behringer there is a way to create a Track which progresses through the patterns, and this can be saved and recalled.

How can I do this on the Samples? I’ve tried Chaining patterns but sadly the chain cannot be saved. Is this even possible on this unit?

There’s no facility on the MS for that, nor DT, you are looking at OT or AR for a song mode. These devices are hands on tbh … you’d need an external intervention of sorts (or a different device)

Thanks for the response. That’s what I feared. Track building/storing chains is unfortunately the main funtionality that I need so it looks like I’ll have to look for a different device. Shame.
