Since playing with the polyend tracker & the key step pro, and even before actually, I wished all my elektron boxes would have an alternative sequencing mode in the menu to activate.
For instance on the analog four it would be that you have 4 sounds on T1 to T4 (t1 drumtrack with some p-locks), T2 bass, … and then you would just hold T1 for example and then you click on one of the 16 steps below to be able to change the pattern just for the T1 sound.
This would be so much more intuitive to create a song, then having to copy pattern after pattern after pattern and making adjustments to create some kind of a structure. I still dont understand how to get a nice song out of any of my boxes. Its somehow to tedious. Or is there anyone that has a tip how to go-ahead with this.
