Alesis Quadraverb, Midiverb etc

You can do a factory reset on QV:

  1. Turn off the QV
  2. Press and hold the PROGRAM and BYPASS buttons
  3. Turn on the QV’s power while still holding the PROGRAM and BYPASS buttons
  4. Once the QV displays the edit buffer patch, you can release the buttons

I don’t, but I guess you could find one online. I didn’t even look before asking, hah.

You can find it online, all the copies I’ve found are from the same scanned source.

What’s this shadows thing all about??

I’m not entirely sure, haven’t used it but The Shadows a rock band from the 60s. Apparently it’s presets made to simulate tape delays used by the Shadows? Kind of a random band to use for marketing a multi FX unit in the 90s.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to sound like Hank Marvin’s use of delay. Still sounds great today.

Surely not, it’s still an odd choice. I do like The Shadows.

I didnt found a clear answer yet, but does someone knows if the GT can receive the OG’s presets ?

Yep, I’ve done it with mine and it worked fine.

That’s really cool, thanks for your answer.

Sorry to dig up this old thread but that Dice Man track is amazing. Never heard of it. Was the main bass a 303 sound? Or was it a Yamaha FM bass?

Indeed, great track

I think it’s probably an SH-101.

Hi guys,

Looking for a quadraverb gt, I wonder what the “right” price would be today for a perfect condition one.
Thanks

Definitely NOT a 303.

100-200 euros. There’s one for sale locally for 85 euros.

Found one for 110€ delivered. Seems ok though.

Thanks :+1:

Just bought an OG QV for 80€. So far I like it but having a question:
How do I send Midi to it? I am using it in Ableton as a send on an audio track and somehow am too stupid to figure it out. Help appreciated, thanks in advance!
