AKAI MPK25 <-> DIGITAKT (failed trying play arp) PLEASE HELP 😥

hi guys! :grinning:
Pulled out its old keys.
Today i’ve tried connect my MPK25 via MIDI with DIGITAKT. :musical_keyboard::wavy_dash::3lektron:
Rereading all topics and watching video from youtube, i was able to do it…
But akai not see external tempo :disappointed_relieved::disappointed_relieved:
With this delicious function i’m planned/wanted playing synced ARPeggio on DIGITAKT!

P.S And also I’m worried that the midi signal does not reach until I turn on my laptop program VyzexMPK25.

Please help me or explain technical nuances :sos:

It’s a little difficult to understand exactly what you are trying to do, and you did not give us much information about your setup, but I hope the following helps.

If you are trying to send messages from the MOK to the DT using the MIDI ports (not USB), remember to use the power adapter for the MPK. USB power is not sufficient.

Connect the MIDI Out port of the MPK to the MIDI In port of the DT.

In the DT’s SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG menu:
set INPUT FROM to “MIDI”;
activate RECEIVE NOTES.

On the MPK:
set the keyboard ‘s MIDI channel to match the number set for AUTO CHANNEL on the DT.

The most important question is that I can not understand why the MPK can’t catch DT clock.

Connect DT MIDI Out to MPK MIDI In.

In the DT’s SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG menu:
activate CLOCK SEND in the SYNC sub-menu;
set OUT PORT FUNC to “MIDI” and set OUTPUT TO to “MIDI” in the PORT CONFIG menu.

In Global mode on the MPK:
select External MIDI clock source
