AKAI MPC JJOS custom length and tempo per track

Hi,

Is it possible to set custom length and tempo per track on an MPC 2500 with latest JJ OS? I want to create polyrhythms. Best described in this video for the OT

I think you can do polyrhythms by assigning patterns of different lengths to pads, but I haven’t done it in a while.

yeah you can do it as dcullina said, or by using the simultaneous sequence function… but not per track unfortunately.

maybe just physically play what you’re hearing - often the quickest way with the MPC sequencer.

yeah pattern-to-pad might work (?). Otherwise - if it’s still available in JJOS - try the ‘second sequence’ function.
