AK track scale quantize... Is note setting, via knob, supposed to OBEY?

Hey,

If I set up a track to follow a scale (say, G Min), and I set a trig, when I twiddle the value for NOTE, should it be following the scale? 'Cause it ain’t… I’m just wondering if it should and I’m doing something wrong? I wish it would…
I read, as far as I can understand in the manual, that notes are recorded when doing live play as the “real” notes and the re-pitch happens after the fact, but it seems that when you set notes it would follow scale setting…

Not the end of the world if it doesn’t it would just be useful in case I’m doing something wrong.

AFAIK, once set, a plocked note is like a recorded note so it should work. Maybe you mean while you turn the knob, without releasing the trig ?

Yea, exactly… I was hoping that if I set the track scale, and turn the knob, the note values displayed would skip “illegal” notes… Pretty sure it don’t do that though…

You want to use it in a creative / live way?
No sure to get the point. Maybe with transpose…
