thats pretty good stuff. funny how its a novation vid; the AK is definitely the centerpiece. still, they seem to play nice together.

Yeah I have to say Ive found the whole thing at the moment with novation championing OTB setups a bit weird - a lot of their best equipment is designed to have the computer front and centre!

A novation sequencer would be quite cool - a combi zero sl / launchpad interface, easy expansion with more launchpads etc. Could be sweet!

They’ve done something else in this vein called Project Calc - http://uk.novationmusic.com/project-calc - that has the OT as the centrepiece too.

I think it’s good that Novation are doing this because:

  • they appreciate that there are other companies making gear(!)
  • they appreciate it’s likely that people will be using not just Novation gear in their setup
  • it goes some way to answering questions from potential and existing customers like “will your gear play nice with other gear”

This is basically the kind of stuff you see pros and amateurs demonstrating on YouTube every day, it’s just cool that an actual company is doing it :slight_smile:
