Has anyone paired their AK up with the new DSI Curtis filter module? I have no DSI gear so this looks like I could get close to that DSI sound without getting yet another keyboard.
If you’ve got a eurorack modular, it’s a pretty inexpensive filter add on as stand alone filters go.
Since this would need power I would think adding a moogerfooger or something with it’s own power supply (koma filter, waldorf 2-pole, etc) would make more sense if you were just trying to add another filter to the end of the chain.
I don’t know of any curtis filter pedals but a mopho desktop has an input which would basically give you the same filter. I’ve seen them used for $200-$225… It also would fit very nicely in the empty real estate on the AK and act as a great extra synth voice when you switch to midi mode. Fun could be had running a single AK voice to the mopho input and have the mopho running back in to the AK for effects processing, etc.
