AK filter and H3000 delay demo

Okay so it’s not my balls out VCO and VCF badass Polaris but I love the AK - love it to pieces.

I picked up by H3000 today after selling one two years ago… what a machine. There’s no VST I’ve heard which compares.

The FX on the AK are great but I can plug it into the H3000 and one sound can sound as full as an entire track - so big.

Here’s a demo of the AK filter in full effect with a simple tap delay.

sounds quite relaxing and capturing, for it not being so much, i shall call it experimental minimal, xprmtlmnml

Thanks! But I didn’t do much… these machines!
You can call it what it is Traban, a demo!

I would love to have an eventide, however, they are pricey…you get what you pay for but you can’t expect elektron effects to compare. : )

Subq, yes, that is so wise - you can’t expect Elektron FX to compare. Very good.

I can’t see where I made that assumption though?

Point of this video is to show how much a decent FX module COMPLIMENTS the sound and ability of the AK.

thanks for showing that kotare, interesting

any anyone tell me: how does the space pedal compare to this unit?

I have the Eventide Space pedal and it actually has quite a lot of exact same algorithms from the Eventide Rack units. I love my Space Pedal and have it on a Send/Return on one of my rack mixers. Well worth the $499. USD price.
You get quite a lot of knobs to tweak in real time and full midi control as well. Timeline is next on list by Eventide but awaiting NAMM 2015 before making any new purchases at the moment.

The question I’d be interested in knowing is whether it has the same converters. Do you know? That’s a big part of the 3000/3500 magic.

I have both H3000 and Space and also the Anthology Plug-ins … Reverb algorithms are quite to Space cleaner and quieter than the H3000 (although they have quite Dittering this factor for me is no problem). The Plug-Ins have nothing to do with H3000, only resemble in programming possibilities sound completely different (closest to Space but without much character) … I never sell my H3000, in any case, purchasing a pair of more units when I find to a good price

no doubt about it, I’ve wanted an Eventide for a long time

I make due with “nice” pedals, i.e. Eventide Space, Strymon…
