Ok, so I have the CV C/D going into my MS20m. I’ll mute the CV track but the sequence randomly still comes through. It’s annoying for obvious reasons.
Has anyone else had this issue?

What issue precisely ? Why is it randomly ?
The Mute only mutes the reading of the sequencer track - it does not block output on the CV output - also note that CV outlets can derive their info from other Source Tracks
If you think that you are observing random Trigs from a muted CV track (which uses the CV track as source for Gate/Pitch) then that would be an issue
It is possible to have CV activity without trigs, so you’d need to give more details about the config to get to the bottom of it
yes, this is exactly what is happening.
i’ve got CV C sending pitch info and D sending trig to the ms20m
the ms20m will randomly play some of the trigs when I don’t have the CV track on.
So you have an S-Trig style Gate derived from the CV track (ie SRC=CV)
If you play the Mini keys of the CV track manually it all functions normally
So sequencing would ordinarily work as expected and would mute the sequence … but not for you - what are you targeting with LFO and what are the exact settings for D
A Korg will trigger if it is shorted (that’s what the S stands for) perhaps you have dodgy cables which are shorting and thus trigging the MS
bingo … .that has to be it. i’ll switch my cables. i should have thought of this. i’ll let you know when i test this out. thank you
it’s not the cable, i thought it might be because i’m using cables that i made. But I have some nice trusty cables from Control and well … same thing happens ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It’s not that big of a deal, it just requires me to do more while performing.
