AH vs TRASH2

just read this today…sorry…so getting back: I have not used presets at all…I dedicated quite some time to tweak Trash in order to obtain some similarities compared to AH

Slop is the track’s title.
Render… I believe is the render to disk of Ableton when using AH’s plugin…it happened an offline render which resulted in that screwed audio…

My apologies for the misrepresentation @sicijk
It does confirm my other conjecture that these settings took some real fine tuning, and I do appreciate the detail of your work.

Another way to get rid of the stuffiness I heard, I think, might be to bypass some of the bandwidth; just use it on the mids, for example, or have a high-pass, such that the Trash is no longer usurping the entire mix. Definitely with the heat, I loose some clarity and openness if I’m not judicious about what areas of the sound I’m applying it. Simply dialing it back doesn’t always solve this alone. Wanted to volunteer that, as an alternative to EQ, etc.
