ye, i recognized that delay issue, too. along with my other problems according to performance editing. i hope there will be a fix, soon. and yes, my previous creations don’t work anymore, too… that’s really bad
ohhhh!
But does it work as it worked before after downgrading??[/quote]
Yeah the delay problem is gone now that i’m back on 1.1D. Can’t believe they’d release an update like that with such a glaring problem. Is this not happening to everyone? So confused.
i’ll try going back, too. my a4 is simply useless now. then i change the track to edit it, sounds are bugging. how can this be.
no way that this is only happening to a select group of users too. Are we the only ones that use our A4’s vigorously? haha
ye, i am already thinking about taking advantage of the guarantee
This is probably a foolish question, but have you tried a factory reset?
yes, that and an empty reset, too. that way i recognized that the preset knob issue only happened to my old sets. but the rest (delay and other strange timing issues) still there. i have filed a support at the elektron site. i hope they can sort it out
Since the update my A4 with 1.11 using external clock by pressing any access (filter, oscillator, amp, etc…) Or change of track it is clear that the tempo changes for a moment, which affects the time delay and reverb. Placing the tempo display the error becomes apparent.
The external clock is 80 bpm and pressing eg change track passes 114.9 bpm for a moment.
Sorry for my bad English
Hello, I’m new here and already ordered my A4.
What is a recommended OS version which doesn’t have those issues?
1.1D, I believe.
I just downgraded to 1.1D because I needed the sounds of my older songs, which I can’t recreate with the newest OS.
AND IT WORKS AGAIN!!!
All saved projects are running and my sounds, kits, performances, sequences are working as I programmed them…
Now I have my A4 back!!!
This thread is holding me back from updating
As long as everything works fine for me and there are not some killerfeatures in a new update I really need, I won’t update. Never change a running system…
Ok I’m mostly too lazy to start the computer and put the A4 on the USB cable too…but that seems to be to my benefit at the moment
FYI, my new A4 which arrived last week is also 1.1D by default.
Support sent me 1.1D too for downgrading my A4 yesterday.
I sent them my Project data… Let’s hope for a great bugkiller update release!
add me to the list of people affected by the FX bug…I haven’t tried to load old projects/sounds
hello, I am reassured because I have this exact problem, since I’m the new update on my A4, and just I just opened a topic on a french forum, to find out if other people are affected by this bug, because it is obvious that is a bug in the new firmware now, otherwise we would not have so much to have the same problems suddenly i think !!!
Thanks for the warning. I will wait before I update my A4.
lucky me, I didn’t get around to “updating”
Funnily enough I updated just before a gig. This shows how wise I really am. I did wonder about the delay wobbles but blamed it on the clock source, which was a PC. Hey ho…
