i’m not getting “bored” per se, just feel like i’ve reached the end of exploring the rytm.

wondering if anyone has any "advanced’ or interesting techniques they would be interested in sharing?

Have you messed with the impulse and noise machines? I’m working on a kit that uses just the noise machine and it’s been a great learning experience. Cranking the filter resonance into self oscillation can make some massive kicks and funky percussion.

Here’s a kit I made using just the impulse machine a while back, give it a whirl and tweak to your liking!

re trig plus velocity modulation exploration?

alongside on tracks sharing one voice and offsetting trig micro timing between retrigs can create some interesting stutter chopping between the two.

i think afx put this to interesting use on some of his field day ep tracks.

Put a gap on the front of samples , and use Lfo on start point to get easy sloppy timing / ability to easily plock the equivalent of microtiming by manually recording it in instead of menu diving

Record 4 or 8 steps worth of audio , use that long sample at different pitches to get weird timing and pitch changes .
Use the sample at different tempo to the original .
