Adding patterns to a chain in Song edit mode

When I add a pattern to a chain in Song edit mode, the CHOOSE PTN prompt displays for several seconds after I’ve inserted the new pattern.

Other than pressing No/Reload to make it go away, is there another way to insert a pattern and not have that prompt display for as long as it does? It’s annoying.

OK, I wonder if I discovered a bug. The thing I describe above only occurs when the device is in REC Mode - i.e. when the Rec light is lit. When it’s off, the CHOOSE PTN prompt never appears.

This is not explained in the manual.

Vos, what makes it normal? Why is it not explained in the manual and what’s the usefulness of the lingering prompt?

I’ts annoying- but sinds i have the A4 it’s allways been like this ( 1 Year ) - could be a bug, but I don’t think so.
Maybe it’s the morkflow choise by elektron.

Checked it . I thik it’s a gub and no morkflow. Never saw the link with rec.
