I saw that earlier today. I dig my Drumatix a lot. I hope this one sounds punchier and more aggressive than an actual 909 the way the Drumatix does over actual 606/808.

Bro I was trolling GS already and saw you on the thread. Great minds think alike.

The case design looks cooler than something like a Nava. So drumatix has 808 sounds Too? But I have a yocto…hmmm

I hope the dual shuffles(909+CR8000) are also implemented, as on the Drumatix and Miami. That feature really distinguishes the sequencer.

Looks cool. Any idea on price?

Imagine a world where noone was looking for the sound of 80s roland.

Let’s wait for the first reviews, vids and VS’s.

2016 is the year of the 909 clone :ecstatic:

Those old Roland machines though have become instruments in their own right, transcending being just a drum machine or what have you, like guitar or piano etc they have a definite sound that has become ubiquitous with late 20th early 21st century, not many other electronic instruments have done this.

Yeah it’s like a guitarist who want that fender or that Gretsch
If i doing electronic music there’s real chance that i want 808 or 909 i don’t have problem with that…

Can’t wait to see the price and reviews

Just got an email from Klaus…March / April 2017. 1000 Euros approximately. Germany and EU get first shot at the parts. No preorders. Game Over!

Respect for 909 original and clones, unique sounding and a piece of history.
But I prefer watching to the future.
I don’t like the emulating way.
TR clone, TB clone, Moog like, Prophet like, ecc.
I think that electronic music is a tool to describe present and to think to future.
I hope in new hardware device with new unique sounding possibilities.

By the way respect for the past.

I will try to save money until this date, I’m lazy to find someone to build me a NAVA clone :smile_cat:

Reviving long dead thread to inquire about the Detroit. Does anybody know if this is dead in the water? It’s still listed on their website. I saw some old posts from you @AdamJay over at Muffwiggler. You have any info about the Detroit’s current production state?

No updates, sadly. I’ve moved on.

I emailed the guy in Jan/2018 here is his reply:

"The Detroit is not available so far. The Detroit is still in development.
First Prototypes are out for testing, but there is no preorder or
selling, as long as the software is not finished.

Best regards
Klaus"

So definitely don’t hold your breath…
