Acid8 vs tb03/ acid line with digitakt

Hello all.
I want an acid bassline to go along the digitakt, and im down to choice between these two. I had acid 8 in the past, liked it a lot. My main grip was that i would have ben wonderful if it could transpose thé pattern by incoming midi note. I wrote two mail to twisted, but never got any answer. Could thé TB do that.?.acid 8 van change pattern by program change, can TB do that??
Which one would you chose between thèse two??

Im asking myself too if thé digitakt could easily séquence acid line with slide on external synths?? So it could open a lot more thé choice…(cheap rocket…)

I’ve had my eyes on acid8 mk2 for some time. I’d like to know the answers to your questions as well.

Can’t comment on acid8 as never tried it, but tb-03 is great, I now have 2 of them. I also have a Cyclone Analogic TT-303 mk2 which is also very good, different enough from the tb-03 to justify having both.

Oh yeah ignore those analog purists that say the boutiques suck, most of them have never used one, I also have 3x TB-303’s.

so does tb03 transpose pattern with incoming midi note??? does it switch pattern with programm change??? thanks

No transpose via midi and no pattern change via midi AFAIK

If this isn’t a ringing endorsement of the tb-03 / boutiques, I don’t know what is! I go back and forth on the tb-03, and this comment just put it back on my radar. Cheers.

I have the TB03. For the true 303 characteristic slides and what not, you’ll need to sequence from the TB03 sequencer.

You can sequence note slides via CC messages with the DT, but it sounds different versus using the TB sequencer.

Yea. Bummer though you can’t send program changes to the TB03.

i thought note slides would just be using different length values on the steps… works on avalon and i think tb-3 (black and green one) , havent tried tb-03 (recent silver one)
make the length of the note overlap to the next one and it’ll slide .
but i tend to use built in sequencer instead of DT.

so note in the dt from the same track can overlap??? coming from the md i was thinking you had to use two track for this…
