Accoustic Instruments you own?

Now, we’re all into electronic stuff
What do you own, just one, your favourite piece?
And maybe a bit of a story, (keep it short or not many will read it)
Might be nice to add if you came from another instrument or started with electronic.

I started with synths

I’ve got Yamaha Upright acoustic electric piano E 202, vaguely similar to the CP-80/70 stage piano.
It has an amp and 3 way speaker system ,and tremolo, along with the amazing pick ups Yamaha made .
Not very loud as a full acoustic, need to open it up, though the amp/speakers sound very nice
Its fun to have around to play, get the chops up, play different stuff.

Whats your non electronic pleasure?

Looks nice. I’d love to have a piano at my place.

Got a range of stringed instruments and little percussive toys here. But if I have to choose one: French horn. My original instrument

Unfortunately it requires work just to keep my mouth in shape to play it, so not a lot of horn making it into my productions these days

Tanglewood acoustic guitar. I funded a headless composite acoustic on Kickstarter and am optimistic I will receive it in the near future.

Acoustic viola is actually the one I spend the most time on, despite my continuing suckage on that instrument. Sampling it into Octatrack is what I do a lot.

Suzuki Andes - a melodica-like instrument that sounds like Andean pipes. Haven’t recorded it yet but have a rough song idea for it. It’s made me lust after a Suzuki-Hammond 44, a 44-key melodica with built-in mic and instrument jack. Playing the Andes turned me on to the possibilities of pitch bend and articulations using the breath and partially releasing keys - would love to have the same thing in a bigger pitch range.
