Better than A or C?
I prefer the B, any other feedback?
I’ve only used a C. It has some balls. I feel like I should have saved myself some money and went with the B since they were a bargain when I was making my purchase, but I have more polyphony and more modulation options so I’m not complaining. But I don’t feel I take full advantage of it.
Spec wise I would say stick with a B if the features meet what you are looking for and skip the A.
I’m not sure how familiar you are with the Virus architecture but code wise, all of them sound the same and patches from each prior version can be loaded to the newer models. Supposedly the D/A converters changed quality over the generations which is why some people may say one sounds better than the other. I would say just ignore this as I think people are mostly talking about how much clearer the TI series is and they preferred the aggressive dirty sound of the A/B/C’s.
