Yes, and I and some others in fact have that working but are waiting for Ableton to release a proper DFU restore mode before publicizing it. Lots of other cool stuff can happen then too!
I’ll add aiff support shortly!

Great! Please keep us posted!
I just pushed an update with aif(aiff) and mp3 support for both tools. Let me know how it works!
Thanks…at the moment is 503 Service Error
Yeah I talked to him, seems it might be an issue with his hosting. Just have to wait until it comes back up. Keep checking off and on.
had some hosting issues, seems more people are liking this than I expected. Should be fixed now!
Awesome!
Wow, it had never occurred to me to have this run directly on Move and accessed via its own server— part of me wanted to ask whether this could be a tool that wasn’t server-side and something I could download and use offline, but I guess having it run directly on Move makes the functionality even more portable. I’ll be interested to hear more about what you all will be running on the Move’s backend (and why)…
Thanks for your work!
The tools i posted can absolutely be used offline! I figured hosting them was easier for most folks than running a downloaded html file (plus i can push updates like aif/mp3 support).
We already had things working serverside but I wanted to see how much we could push to the client to make things a little more flexible in the future. Here’s a zip of the offline versions, you should be able to run these from your computer without a connection.

Move users - after the latest update, what are the key features that you think are still missing?
Timestrech
Auto Filter on Master
Still same as day one for me. Song mode, track panning, track volume automation, seamless audio looping into drum samplers and/or some kind of audio tracks or audio looper, allow us to delete factory presets, let us make folders for user presets, allow the randomized presets to be pulled from user content instead of factory content, or let us create a template track that loads instead of the randomized presets.
For me my only gripe is not being able to go from Note to the Move. It’s very counterintuitive to have 8 tracks on Note while only having 4 available on the Move.
I would love to know what the Pi inside the Move is capable of and what the potential bottlenecks are. Implementation-wise it would simply involve scrolling vertically through 2 pages of 4 tracks.
This is why Note still gets more use from me than the Move which seems a bit of a shame.
Midi x Channel is for me very Important ( say you want to assign your Midi Out from Digitone to Move )
Biggest one so far for me is still manual save and reload, for two reasons.
One, as a sketchpad, sometimes I like to just throw a bunch of paint at the wall and see what it looks like. But there’s currently no way to undo a bunch of changes all at once if I dont like what I end up with.
Two, I’d like to be able to make tweaks on the fly while jamming on it and then be able to quickly jump back to a particular save state. Similar to Func+Yes/Func+No on Elektron machines.
As it is now, the Move autosaves when you switch sets, and the only way to reset everything is to spam the Undo button. Just not ideal for my workflow.
Anyone looking for more effects for their move and runs on rechargeable battery with 100+ effects and captures/IR’s and drum looper and regular looper and 9 effects at once and built in audio interface too and SUPER TINY! Then perhaps this is for you for only $65. Effects sound great for the money and looper and portable etc… Well worth it. Maybe even better than nts-3 (that i never got, stupid ebay/mail) or the zoom cdr-70. So grabbed one of these instead which is on the way! This just came out recently.
But it’s mono input right? Not sure how that’s gonna work
Pleased to say that I took Move through security at Pearson airport and there was no drama whatsoever. I put it into a separate bin and it went straight through without secondary review — much easier than Push 3!
It fits into my normal backpack, plus it’s light and easy to carry. I’m almost looking forward to this flight.
Can you remap the parameters that Move’s knobs are mapped to when using Control Live mode? Also, it seems to re-trigger whatever device is playing each time I touch a knob! For example, I put a DS Kick instrument on a MIDI track, put a 4 on the floor pattern in, and as it is running it will trigger an additional kick each time I turn a knob. Is this normal behavior?
Edit: Restarting Move fixed the re-triggering behavior.
importing wavetable presets! i’m growing more and more happy with the move, but we desperately need this feature.
