Still holding out hope on this, with the 8 knobs lining up to the 8 rows.

nobody said the encoder can be pushed. I bet this is just a simple encoder to cut costs. At max… it will have a click to select presets.

Exactly my point.

It can only be MOVEd.

I would be more happy to do it in Live though instead of the weird web based interface that Novation uses.

Dude, this isn’t X.

That would remind me of the MC-101. It’s the same there. But the MC-101 definitely lacks a fifth track (for resampling).

Yeah. they way I do it on the 101 is resample on the 4th, export wav, import into a drumpad on the 1st track

It’s tedious as fuck but … it is what it is. And when I’m on the 707 I’m like… oh what should I feel these other 4 tracks with? :))

So, in terms of the size - what is it?
Half of the Push, surface-wise?
Then I might get actual Push instead (again…) with full MPE and proper screen :frowning:

Hate when leaks are true like this…

Ha, I’m still waiting for any image generation model to have even just the basic understanding of how black keys are organized on a keyboard.

AI is basically only really good at rendering humans and things from nature; anything mechanical or electronic quickly becomes obvious that there’s no actual logic to it.

So assuming the pads are the same size as the Push 3, the push 3 is about 9 inches across from pad to pad. 15 inches total length.

This looks like it might be about 12 inches, or 30-ish centimeters, total length. Not too big, depending on the weight this looks like a decent competitor to Deluge not in terms of total functionality but size for portability.

Someone could get better measurements in photoshop using pixel counts, the big thing to know is one pad is one inch and the spacing between pads across the 8 pads adds an extra total inch.

  1. Every device I had that said ~3 hours … lasted me longer because I usually turn it off when pausing.
  2. How often do you travel 3hrs at a time?
  3. Stick a battery with velcro (and bonus: use it as a stand) and charge it via USB-C.

Thank me later.

For me personally that isn’t a concern since I use a powerbank. I use it with the SP-404 mk2 for example and that gives me hours and hours. Even though the Move could be more power hungry than the SP-404, and probably is, it still would allow me to just plug in the powerbank as soon as the 3 hours have passed.

Hey it’s Note in a box, what a surprise.

Believe it or not, she’s actually pretty gentle with the Electribe 2S! Still doesn’t make anything particularly ā€œmusicalā€ at three years old, but it can keep her occupied for quite a while.

We’re not sticky about screen time but when we decide she’s had enough for the day and move to our offline hobbies, the Push 3’s screen is juuuuuuuust big enough that I feel like a hypocrite using it.

Is there any chance those buttons to the left of the pads mean 4 banks of 4 tracks for a total of 16 tracks?

Dƶner = a type of kebap

For devices claiming to be portable devices… 3 hours is pretty bad though.

OP-Z is reportedly 6 hours (significantly less when using the app). OP-1 Field is 24 hours. M8 MK2 is 12 hours.

With portability you really don’t want to think about battery life. I will say with the M8 it was originally at 4 or 5 hours and it felt like I had to charge the thing frequently.

Also for me personally, I don’t work at home or in an office, I’m more often on the road throughout the day so portability appeals to me a lot. I tend to spend my hour long lunch making beats. Yeah, 3 hours will get me through the day but it does start to get annoying to have to remember to charge something every night cuz it may not last the second or third day. That’s more my specific problem but 3 hours just ain’t good for me. Biggest reason for me to upgrade to the M8 Model 2 was the battery improvements.

Since the layout looks to be amenable to it, I hope they’ve included some sort of parameter locking-like functionality.

Is there anything like that in Push or Note currently?
