Ableton Move [Archived]

This looks like a bad Clone Stamp in Photoshop too:

Also weird that there are no Shadows on the white pads. They don’t appear to be that flush with the device shell:

Not to mention that they should be Square and not rectangular.

If the image is correct, which I hope it is not, those would be scene selection buttons, and it would be an 8 track device with a knob above each track at the top, the tracks running vertical.

It says source is a store but is it actually anywhere on that shop because I can’t find it

It’s been pulled now. Why would a store be Photoshopping fake images? This is clearly real

They are slightly rectangular on Push 3, and a bit more rectangular on Push 2, those look pretty close to the Push 2 buttons.

While I am enjoying this speculating, the only confirmed information we have really had is a couple of teaser images and one teaser video. Everything else has been people (including me) guessing and wishing.

It does have an uncanny half-sized look to it but that might be fun.

Ableton: They want a smaller Push, let’s just chop that sucker in half.

Scene launch from Note

In Ableton Note that is the button that triggers every pattern in that scene. The same buttons are on all the Pushes but they are on the right side and double as the retrigger note divisions. If this is something more lined up with note this actually makes a lot of sense for them to be on the left side.

Also as with any of the following inconsistencies with with circles and stuff… this was a picture taken with a phone clearly, and phones all have this weird algorithmic smoothing thing which could be responsible for the image being weird in spots.

To me this looks most believable because it doesn’t look like some graphic design guy made it. This looks like something that has practicalities to it in order to produce a usable device. We’ll see in a few days but my money is on this is it.

Man the fakespotting literacy around here is abysmal. It’s not fake, it just did not live up to the febrile speculation.

In any case I’m looking forward to seeing how it all works.

Where are you guys seeing the leaked pic?

Oh dang thanks. My side of the forum was glitching and it was showing the latest comment to be 1130 but everyone was talking about the picture. The comment with the link hadn’t showed up yet. Appreciate it.

Yeah. I want to rationalize it away. Hahah

Let’s see how it works then react

I want to be impressed and amazed ya know.

Really curious about that screen and how it will work with the devices.

Good thing is that if that is real maybe it will be available to buy on day of announcement.

And it looks cheap enough not to be burdened by lack of supply chain

Let’s just hope it is stand alone and not a controller.

Ableton Note also has a limit of 8 tracks.

This thing looks way more like a Novation Circuit and I think that’s going to be a good thing. Slimmed down workflow with a focus on creating patterns quickly, probably using presets. It might be able to sample but I don’t see this having Simpler levels of manipulation. It’s probably going to be better for looping audio and maybe recording one shots. Slicing on this looks like a nightmare if it’s using that tiny screen but maybe the buttons at the bottom have something to do with it?

My bet is those buttons on the bottom are the Mute and Solo buttons for the corresponding track above them.

I bet this will blow the socks off other competing products in the price tier, as long as you’re not banking on it being a heavy sampler. The MPC One might still be the best value for money though especially if you’re considering used.

Well we can slice on the Circuits and OP-Z ya know.

Let’s hope Cenk demos it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t recall slicing on the original circuit. On the newer sample focused one for sure. But it has been a long time since I owned the original circuit.

One thing I saw on the Reddit page is maybe there is a corresponding app that would showcase more information like the OP-Z has. That would make this even more interesting.

Riiiiiiight. And the buttons on the left of the pads are scene launchers. Like on Note. Interrrrresting. This might be it then.

Ps: you can EASILY edit start and end points on that OLED. Think Digitakt start / end in Sample Record screen.

I meant the newer Circuits.
