How is Move in controller mode? Does it provide a good controller experience? I really enjoyed using Push 2.
Just noticed something - none of the devices usable on Move contain the analog modeled filters Ableton licensed from Cytomic, except Wavetable - where they stated that there are limitations on what features of it the sound designers were able to use for move.
I wonder if that’s a coincidence, or whether there are perhaps licensing or porting issues for those filters
can I delete all the onboard sounds and upload mine own library of samples?
Does the repeat mode snap to the grid when using drum racks? Or do you have to time it perfectly to stay in sync with what’s playing?
This was always an annoyance with the Analog Rytm, so I’m hoping the Move snaps. Thanks
How many maximum scenes can we have per track and per project?
If CPU/Memory resources permit, perhaps we can have 8 tracks.
To achieve this, can we Long<->Press or Shift<->Press the track buttons to have the LEDs blink. Non-blink = Tracks 1 to 4 and Blink = Tracks 5 to 8. Will it work?
What improvements are possible on the Move (Moving) forward? Has it got scope for improvement or is it limited (WYSIWYG).
Midi Clock, CC and pitchbend have already been confirmed as possible on hardware side, just not available so far.
When exporting a track that has notes pitched in the drum rack… how does that translate into ableton live? Currently there’s no way to transpose notes the same way in live. Is it doing pitch automation?
It syncs properly from my few times using it
When checking the pitched drum notes in Live, it seems that MPE pitch bend information has been added.
Yes, also great for transferring Presets and Samples
I’ve had different devices running into my Move over the last couple of days, it works great.
Ive had it paired with the Syntakt, great combo.
I’ve been been either grabbing samples from ST into Move, or sync’ing it and recording longer loops.
Once they’re in, upload the Set to Cloud, open Live, voila- it’s all there laid out ready to develop.
Anyone think that it will eventually be able to play/output MIDI files like the MC101 can?
interesting, I noticed Ableton is also selling already Move parts, knob kit and volume knob
Haha, made the them investigation last night
Is there any audio setup when running the DT into the move? Or just monitor on?
Had a look in the manual and wondered whether you had to be in sampling mode permanently if you wanted to jam with another device.
Here are the missing icons. Let the speculation begin.
If you put the phone flash on the surface of the device in the dark you can see them.
Looks like a Led Zeppelin album cover!
