Ableton Live / Logic Pro auto map pot/fader controller?

Is there a controller for either Ableton Live or Logic Pro with pots / faders, that automatically maps to the relevent parameters in Live or Logic’s native synths and FX in each track?

Except for Push - I don’t need the grid and other features, I just need a controller that automaps so it’s like I’m using hardware, no matter what track or instance I’m on.

I don’t know if it’s still a thing but Novation used to make automap capable controllers - I’ve had several of the RemoteSL units - a 25 keys one and a zero keys (just pots faders and drum pads) one which I still use some 15+ years later… The auto map software is another layer of bloat in the software… Perhaps there’s a more recent solution that works better? The Native Instruments keyboards have that total integration thing with their vsts but not sure if that also works with stock live stuff / macros etc.

Quick check shows their automap is no longer supported by Novation unfortunately but it might still work if your OS isn’t too current:

Ooh ooh @henryo looks like there’s a way to get this going with any controller by modifying the midi control scripts in the live user files - I’ve not read this article in full or tried this but looks promising!

I think the Arturia mini lab 3 controller is integrated with Live and Logic.

With relatively little effort you can make any controller work for live with remotify. https://remotify.io/
It’s not free but if you have an old controller laying around it’d be cheaper than buying a new one.

I haven’t got it but the LaunchKey Mk4 Ableton integration looks great.

There is also this controller from Nektar. Looks really nice, considering it myself.
