In Live 12, I have my solo buttons MIDI mapped to an external controller.
When I hit the button on my controller, Live solos the track.
However, Live also auto-selects the track and jumps to that specific track.
Any way to disable this behaviour?
Okay I solved this. I think they added this in Live 12 because I don’t remember this problem in 11. I’ll post the solution in case it helps anyone.
Here’s the solution, it’s very simple:
Add this line to your options.txt file:
-NoHighlightOnSolo
If you don’t have an options.txt file, here’s the link on how to make one:
Adding the line solved a big problem for me. No unnecessary jumping around the project, and no CPU hit because of the screen redraw etc.
