When I use the CV Instrument in Ableton 12 I am able to successfully send a Gate signal to my Roland SH-2, but it does not respond correctly to CV pitch data. I am using an RME UFX III with DC coupled output and 1/4" cables to connect the two pieces of hardware.
What happens is, if I increase the output signal of the CV out on my audio interface to the CV in on my SH-2, the pitch will go higher and if I lower the audio signal the pitch goes lower - however, it doesn’t track when I try to play it on my keyboard controller, it just plays the same not across the entire range. Hopefully this makes sense.
