Applied Acoustic Systems has just updated their take on modular / Eurorack system on a computer, presenting affordable - although probably not as comprehensive? - self-contained alternative to NI Reaktor, Softube Modular, VCV Rack Pro, Voltage Modular.

New version includes:

  • (!) physical modelling oscillators & filters
  • support for polyphony
  • support for MPE
  • FM oscillator

It’s really nice, although it doesn’t sound as good as the others and it is closed, i.e. you can’t buy additional 1st or 3rd party modules.

But sometimes that is exactly what you might need :slight_smile:
