First I wanted to buy one but then my wife said that white cover style reminds her of the control panel from a defibrillator I would still like to change the style. Black is timeless but now it just annoys me! I look forward to new and different creations from you. Keep up the good work.

the white panels are much more visible in low-light situations, which is pretty much the case in most performance environments.

Exactly. I love black, red and white, but especially red really becomes invisible in bad lighting.

Thank you… We are learning that the many requests do not translate into people actually pulling the trigger and purchasing, so we keep the the options simple, we do offer custom made to order options.

It’s hard to tell in the photos, so could you describe the finish, and how it differs from the stock faceplate?

Well our finish is cream white with a bit of a “pearl” finish, this run is powder coated and then baked to to really adhere the coating to the panel.
In terms of difference compared to Elektron ? Can’t really comment as we are not privy to Elektron’s manufacturing process.
On our end we spare no expense, the highest quality materials are all sourced and fabricated right here in the US.

We are updating our Flickr page which will have some hi-res images.

Okay, that’s what I was interested in, texture.
I wasn’t that excited when i first saw the images, but I have to say looking at it again and again, it is growing on me.

Surely just a faceplate swap can’t void the warranty, right?! (Hope not)

So we have an Octatrack in the same finish just recently sold the red and black. Its a 2-edged sword. The close up shots were so good (Thanks iPhone 6 !!! ) that the texture showed but to the naked eye and touch it is a smooth finish. Finishing the windows, will post updated pics in a week or so.
Also the pearl is a subtle effect

These look so nice; I caught one of your other face plates on Ebay recently. Really cool.

I only wish someone would make something like this in a high quality, removable/reusable vinyl sticker which would let us keep our warranty intact. I’d be all over something like that.
