as much as I love Elektron and the black boxes, I think that their choice of red labeling on black casing is a huge UI mistake - it’s impossible to read without direct lighting.

the white panels are much more visible in low-light situations, which is pretty much the case in most performance environments.

First I wanted to buy one but then my wife said that white cover style reminds her of the control panel from a defibrillator I would still like to change the style. Black is timeless but now it just annoys me! I look forward to new and different creations from you. Keep up the good work.

Exactly. I love black, red and white, but especially red really becomes invisible in bad lighting.

Pretty much why we did it. I personally have difficulty making out standard text in low light

Thank you… We are learning that the many requests do not translate into people actually pulling the trigger and purchasing, so we keep the the options simple, we do offer custom made to order options.

It’s hard to tell in the photos, so could you describe the finish, and how it differs from the stock faceplate?
