i go to the same section on the A4 to set the Turbo Speed on the A4 to max potential, but no matter what i push, nothing changes on this setting. not sure if there should be a check mark in that blank box. some sort of speed setting, or anything.
any help would be greatly appreciated
Not sure what exactly you are trying to achieve.
Turbo, as far as i know is for quick data transfer from computers.For samples etc.
Turbo shouldnt make any difference unit to unit.
Are you just trying to get them to talk or sync?
A4 doesnt use samples so what are you trying to send from your OT?
Turbo transfers from C6 need in and out both connected i think.
Thats what i do anyway for updates and stuff.

from what i understood, the turbo made all midi info cruise without any latency when used between two machines with the turbo speed options.
more than anything, i’m just wondering why i can’t get the A4 to even let me select the option.
if the turbo is only for transfering samples from a computer, i wonder why it’s in the midi section? i didn’t know you could transfer samples over midi. with the OT, i just set it to disk mode and move the files over.
the only thing i use the midi for actually is machine to machine connections. i use USB to transfer the updates etc.
anyway, thanks for the response. hoping i can get the A4 to at least let me select the Turbo Speed as an option.
It only works when you bi-directionally connect two Elektron devices that support it !
