Have anyone had any luck either starting Reasons sequencer from A4 or vice versa?

I tried all the Transport Send and Recieve on the A4 and used both USB and a regular MIDI interface with no luck.

To clarify, I’m trying to do it through Reason’s External Midi Instrument.

Midi sync is achieved through the settings in the preferences in Reason and not through the midi instrument. The midi instrument sends note, gate, CC and Program change.

Yes, Analog Four shows up in the preferences in Reason and I tried both External Control and Midi Clock Sync without luck.

In Reason after you have configured the settings in preferences go to options drop down then sync and select internal, Midi clock or send midi clock. I find Reason very tight for midi.

Yeah this step is easy to forget, Reason works fine with my Analog Four, both USB or with MIDI Interface
