I’m looking to get either of these to do mostly synth duties in ebm/techno style music. I currently also have a Blofeld and Machinedrum UW. Which one would lend to better sounds as below?

both could satisfy you… but the Monomachine would be my choice.
I used to be in a band somewhat similar to the links you posted, and in the same period.
a lot of stuff was sample based back then
Alesis drum machines, Ensoniq samplers and synths, Kurzweil if you had the money ;o)

this is me all right ;o) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiS-nldUAx8

later on: Nord Lead 1 was the shizzle ;o)

have fun

What is it that you find is lacking in the Blofeld for the kinds of sounds that you want ?

I am not crazy about the Blofeld’s UI. There is a bit too much menu diving for me and only 4 knobs. It’s easier for me to get around on something from Elektron or more…

MM for sure & sample it with the MD for that grit!

@old dub dude, that vid is wicked

haha - the days of VHS and Amiga 500 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Monomachine for sure. A lot of the old industrial/EBM stuff was made using digital synths and samplers.
