it’s a choice - those parameters are performance orientated - same on the AR - it irks and surprises everyone, but that does not make it wrong - the plocks are attributed to sound/seq parameters, the joystick is not addressing sound/seq parameters directly, unlike the knobs - it’s the way it is, and no amount of pressure from SOS will change that - things are changing soons, so who knows what might happen, but keep in mind also that one must over-ride the other, so what’s the point in recording both anyway - that’s why they’re best thought of as performance aspects - as are the performance knobs

Some days I wish I had individual outputs, but I love that it fits on my desk, and doesn’t revolve around a keyboard interface.
Both machines are capable of making great music.
They have different features and interfaces.
Maybe they sound a little bit different.
Just buy one of them. There is no wrong answer here.
You will be happy with either, I guarantee it.
