A4 (midi slave) Starting seq. in sync

Hi,

My midi setup: Octatrack is the master, A4 receive the midi clock.
When i play live i need to switch projects on the A4, which cause the A4 sequencer to stop (Octa stays on the same project all along my live set).
At this point, ro resync the A4, i need to quickly stop the Octa seq, and restart it. Not very convenient, but as i play ambient music, it’s ok.
Another solution would be to start the A4 seq by pressing the start button in sync… but that’s very tricky if the tempo is fast.

Have you guys any tips about this ?

Thanks.

I use a Sequentix sequencer as master and it has this clever trick of sending a MIDI start command at the start of the next globar bar should you press play when it’s already playing. You could grovel to Elektron to copy the feature, I never copyrighted it.
