A4 + md

I got a A4 and a MD … do I plug the A4 into the MD or the MD into the A4?

Both are quite possible.

You may prefer sticking the md into the a4, since in the md the inputs are run through ad and da convertors, whereas the a4 has got a full anapog signal path.

Because of the reverb and delay most people suggest to route MD through A4 effects.

In my setup these good effects deserves my shruthi-1 and MD goes with THRU into OT effects

Note that with the A4 you can also make some nice percussion sounds (check the DrumA sound sets beautifully made by someone from the forum).

If you have a MD UW+ version you can sample the A4 and send the drums too you MD sample bank. This will keep your A4 tracks free A4 for leads, bass etc. and polyphonic

I use a mixer with AUX send to my MD for sampling the A4.

Then again I route the MD into the A4 for adding some reverb, etc.

i got the MD into the A4 … ad / da seems to be selling it for me
