A4 loosing clock

Hi
Have a problem with midi clock
A4 is recieving clock and transport over usb from windows 7 / ableton live 9.
Ive tried with a midi interface as well, same thing and did a factory reset on the a4.
It suddenly stops, sometimes after 10 seconds, or 1 minute and can even go on for 5 minutes and then suddenly stops, while the transport button in Live continues to go the A4 has stopped. It can be my computer or it can be a faulty A4. Any suggestions?

I’m having the same problem with XP and Live 8. I was using a long USB cable (5m) and seems it got better with a powered hub between pc and A4 and shorter cables, but sometimes it still stops.
My MPC 1000, slaved to Live, suffers the same problem, so I would think it’s not a A4 issue.
