A4 live set set up

hi everyone, this is my first topic.
I have bought an a4 but after some times that i am learning it, so far I haven’t understood totally how the pattners works and how set up a live set.
Yes I can switch among the differents pattners but changing one sound, the sound change in all the pattners, how can I create a live set progression with more then 4 sounds?? maybe using evry times the sound block function?
thanks!!!

Just assign a different kit to each pattern.

…and try to read the manual completely at least one time.

:astonished:  omg

so simply? thank you very much!! i ve tried and it works
thank you! really , i have been reading i don’t know how many times…

I’ve only had my A4 a week or so. And I have not finished reading the manual! Currently I am saving each track with kit etc as a Project. Is this an irrational way to proceed? I want to save the patterns and sounds with one name, in one location. That is why I have been happy with the Project save…

Same sequencer… so this is a great tutorial vid too.

…with no further elektron experience, you’re forced to read your first elektron manual at least TWICE in peace…really…

do yourself this favour…we all don’t like it…we all get lost in there from page to page…
but just read along again…ANYWAY…

all fast inbetween answers you can get here before don’t do the job for you for real, if ur not grounded with it first…

all pieces wil fall into their places soon and start to make sense in a way you can’t imagine by now…it’s an elektron…congrats…

I will read the manual! I’m just initially surprised and pleased that you can find your way around, intuitively. With only a little forewarning. In fact I have had a good introduction via the Quick Reference Guide I found through here (I think). Great!

the Quickstart guide is not the manual.
seriously, read it twice attentively and it will all become clear.

Or at least clearER.

There’s also an excellent alternative (maybe even outright better) manual available on iTunes:
