Hi,
is anybody using this combination A4 + IPAD Konkreet Performer?
I thought it would be really fun to link the performance mode to the IPad controller…
How would I set this up, cause the MIDI in is already used cause the A4 is slaved to my OT.

A midi merger would work. It combines the midi signals from two or more sources into one. Kenton and Midi Solutions make them for example.
Hmm, USB if you’re using a computer?
you want to use the Apple Camera adaptor .
for iPads with Lightning connector:
for older iPads:
This gives you a direct and stable USB MIDI connection.
I dis-recommend 3rd party adaptors. The Apple adaptor is worth the money.
you can also use it to connect class-compliant USB audio interfaces, such as this cheap one:
If you connect a powered USB hub to the iPad, you can e.g. connect an audio interface and the A4, and a keyboard…
I highly recommend the iConnectMIDI2 and iConnectMIDI4 interfaces to anyone using an iOS device and a computer or two in a MIDI setup.
These are brilliant devices – they’re a single MIDI interface that is shared by 2 or 3 computers (respectively). The routing possibilities are extensive, to put it mildly. They also allow audio to be passed through between the 2 or 3 computing devices (digitally – no D-A then A-D involved), so all 3 computers can also share a single audio interface.
I’m using the iCM4 with an iPad1 and a couple of MacBookPros, one of which is attached to an RME FF400. The iCM4 allows any MIDI app on any computer to talk ‘MIDI’ to any other MIDI app on any other computer (or h/w MIDI device), and audio from all 3 computers comes out the FF400.
… Beautiful integration.
Sorry for the ‘ad’ (though I’m not connected with the manufacturers), but it’s been decades since I got excited about a MIDI interface.
Got the camera adapter seems to work fine with touch osc — hmm now were can I finde the A4 editor?
However I do not get the Konkreet Performer to work in the Permormance mode ---- damn…
I know that if I press Perf+Clear it goes back to roginal settings, which is very useful Live - is it possible to rec. this in Touch OSC?
hmmmmm
