What is your experience with Track Outs on A4?
What setups did you tried, which ones were temporary, which one were more long term, what clever tricks did you have to come up with in order to accomplish desired results?

My main use of additional IO.
In fact you can not go Audio out and CV out into audio input.
Crazy experiments in this field.

Another cool thing is to drive some (semi-) modular with the midi and CV outs, and treat it’s output within the A4.
This way, you can even use tubes LFOs + Keytrack on A4 filters.

Crazy rabbit hole, dude!
Of course you can connect other gear and give it some analog filters, use the A4s FX.
You can then do some fun things with p-locked settings of all sorts.
Where things get realy mad is, when you route track 1 to its output and into a fx pedal, return it to an input, use that as the source for track 2, route that to its output, then into another fx pedal and then into the second input, choose that as the source for track 3.
So, one source track, 3x p-locked sequences (+ individual time signatures and pattern lenght!), 6 lfos and 2 fx pedals (if you like), additionally track 2+3 have each one osc left for additional tonal stuff.
Haven’t tried it, but now that I think of it: you could also apply AM to the tracks too.
So track 2 OSC 1 = Input 1, OS2 = AM for OSC1

Track one out into an SP 404 mk2 and through the effects, back into the inputs and used as the oscillators for track 2, then through the internal effects.

Although to clarify, I am mostly interested in Track Outs.
I have done or at least I am aware of use cases for CV I/O and audio inputs… I haven’t really read / seen anyone using Track Outs.
I have a couple of mixer channels available and would like to find a semi-permanent setup that integrates at least one or two track outs.
Well the reasons to take individual tracks out would be all to do with processing, either through a mixer send and/or pedals, or through something to be routed back into the A4 for further processing with the internal effects and/or sequencer/filters.
One of the reasons why I upgraded form an A4 MKI to AK were the inclusion of indiouts. Once I have something serious going on again with it, I can multitack all the voices individually without resorting to OB2 (which I do not like to use due to its relatively high RTL). I also have plenty of stereo channels on my analogue main mixer, so can also do mixed takes straight to 2-track if necessary…
I am a bit puzzled why all the indiouts are stereo however… Guess it allows extra flexibility, in cases where one is feeding ext stereo signals into a voice, for example…

Are the inputs processed as stereo? I would guess, the stereo bit is only from the amp stage of the signal chain, i.e. the filters are not stereo (I haven’t checked).
Only idea I came up with so far is that by using trig locks with hard L/R panning, you can effectively run 8 individual tracks out of A4, which brings it in line with AR.

ooh, that’s a great point! I often use A4/AK for drum sounds, so this will be very, very useful for anything which doesn’t have long decays
Very new to using the individual outs (I just got a Ferrofish Pulse 16 converter for its 16 inputs). My thoughts were to provide individual tracks in the DAW for separate recording / processing etc. Working great so far.
I use the individual outputs for live purposes, so I can treat them as 4 individual synths connected to the mixer and then in the mixer I send the audio to different FXs (not only delay, reverb and chorus and with more flexibility) and I can change audio levels faster than watching the small screen and the right knob…with the mixer is easier. But that’s it for Live purposes, for sketching songs I just use the master out, I really like internal FXs
