Hoping someone has some insight here as I’m starting to go a bit kooky. I’m setting up a MIDI controller to use with my A4 but I’m running into a problem. The NRPN MIDI messages don’t seem to actually effect the FX parameters. I’m sending plenty of CCs which successfully control most parameters, and most vexingly I have multiple NRPN messages controlling other parameters like filter frequency, but I still can’t get the messages to change things like delay time or feedback. I’ve tried to set up the FX track as both the same midi channel as the auto channel and simply off. Every other track is working on the auto channel with their individual midi channels off. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello my friend, I’ve just ran into the same problem.
Using an SL MK3 and yep - FX paramters will not respond to NRPN.
Have you found a work around?
